SACRAMENTO – Klinedinst attorney Michael L. Martucci spoke at the Sacramento County Bar Association Solo and Small Practice Division on Tuesday, June 28, 2016.
The SCBA Solo and Small Practice Division mixer was a bimonthly networking and MCLE event for attorneys from such practices to meet and assist one another in navigating the worlds of lawyering and managing a law practice.
As part of a panel presentation, Mr. Martucci explored the elements of legal malpractice. In their presentation, “The Top Five Ways to Avoid Legal Malpractice in Your Practice,” the presentation dissected areas of legal malpractice, how it happens, and how an attorney can avoid it in their line of work. From deadlines to documentation, the presentation addressed ways to prevent malpractice in the unique environments of solo and small practices.
