Christopher Holt joined the Klinedinst, Orange County team in the fall of 2003. He graduated, cum laude, from the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law in May 2003. Mr. Holt also received his M.B.A. from the University of Arizona Eller College of Business and Public Administration in May 2003. Mr. Holt was admitted to the practice of law in California in 2003.
Mr. Holt specializes in general litigation. He practices in the areas of employment law, health care subrogation, defense of consumer credit collection actions, real estate, and business disputes. Mr. Holt regularly appears in superior court, federal courts and workers compensation appeals board offices.
While studying at the University of Arizona, Mr. Holt pursued a wide array of clerking experiences. During the Summer of 2000, Mr. Holt clerked for Senator Jon Kyl (R. Ariz.) on the staff of the U.S. Senate Subcommittee for Technology, Terrorism, and Government information. The next summer, Mr. Holt clerked for Sunbelt Communications, a television station holding company in Las Vegas, gaining experience with media law, first amendment broadcast applications, franchise law, and litigation. During his final summer, Mr. Holt worked for the Attorney’s Office of the Town of Oro Valley, a suburb of Tucson, gaining experience with land use law, ordinance development and enforcement, and municipal operations.
Before attending law school, Mr. Holt worked as an analyst at the Northern Trust in Chicago, where he worked with institutional clients in China, Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore including a temporary position at the firm’s London offices. Mr. Holt left the Northern Trust after attaining the title of Trust Officer.
Mr. Holt received his B.S. in Finance with Honors in 1993 from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His undergraduate education included a semester at the University of Paderborn in Paderborn, Germany.
