Floyd A. Brown is an associate attorney in the San Diego office of Klinedinst PC. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Brown was a litigation paralegal, where he supported all phases of the litigation, from legal research, document review/ management to witness interviews. Mr. Brown started as law clerk at Klinedinst PC during Law School.
Mr. Brown earned his law degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Law and holds an undergraduate degree in Business Management. While in law school, Mr. Brown was an active member of Thomas Jefferson’s Black Law Students Association. Mr. Brown received the Pro Bono Recognition Award for his work with Disabled American Veterans and Family Law matters. Currently, Mr. Brown is involved with local legal organizations, and he is a member of the Thomas Jefferson Alumni Association.
Mr. Brown is a member of the State Bar of California. He is admitted to practice before all California state courts, the United States District of Court of California for the Southern District.
Mr. Brown served in the United States Air Force, and is considered a wartime veteran. Mr. Brown served as a non-commissioned officer, and a member of the Air Force JAG Corps as a Military Justice and Area Defense Counsel Paralegal. During his military career, Mr. Brown served abroad in locations around the world, including Germany, Saudi Arabia, Cuba, England, Haiti, and Sarajevo.
Mr. Brown continues to serve as a mentor, and is actively involved in the Thomas Jefferson Alumni Association and other community organizations. Mr. Brown is originally from the historic Idlewild, Michigan, and is an avid music and sports fan.
