Molly L. Zohn is an attorney in Klinedinst’s San Diego office, and advises clients with respect to energy, environmental, regulatory compliance, and transactional matters. She is the chair of the firm’s Energy and Natural Resources Group (ENRG), and her experience includes the representation of clients in significant commercial transactions, including a $1 billion dollar sale of overseas power generation and utility companies, divestiture of non-U.S. flagged fleet of oil and natural gas transport vessels, and bridge financings and syndications up to $700 million. She has also litigated on behalf of utility companies and others engaged in power production before courts and regulatory agencies.
Ms. Zohn joined Klinedinst from the legal department of San Diego Gas & Electric Company and Sempra Energy. She previously handled mergers and acquisitions and financings in the Washington, D.C. office of a well-known global law firm.
Ms. Zohn graduated magna cum laude from George Mason University School of Law in 2006, where she served as the Senior Articles Editor for the law review and was a member of the Moot Court Board’s National Team. She received her Bachelors of Arts and Masters of Arts from the University of California, Los Angeles.
