LAS VEGAS, NEVADA – Klinedinst PC is pleased to announce the addition of Shareholder Michael S. Rawlings to its Las Vegas office.
Mr. Rawlings joins the firm from a large national defense law firm, where he built a practice focused on business and commercial litigation. He also comes to the firm with experience in complex matters involving transportation, personal injury, construction defect, premises liability, and family law.
A native of Las Vegas who attended Bonanza High School, Mr. Rawlings earned his B.A. from Utah State University. Upon graduating from Utah State, he went to work at a third-party claims adjuster that exclusively handled transportation claims. He became a national claims manager, resolving hundreds of personal injury cases in Clark County, before deciding to take the next step in his career path by pursuing his J.D. He earned his law degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Michigan, then immediately went to work as a general counsel with a transportation company. He then became an associate in a defense firm handling a wide array of civil litigation. He has built an impressive practice since those early days, handling civil litigation at all stages, from initial intake, motion work, and discovery to arbitration, mediation, and trial.
Mr. Rawlings is active in the community, and has been recognized for his work with the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada. LACSN helps improve access to justice by providing legal representation to low-income individuals and families who face critical legal problems that affect their basic needs.
