James H. Mokhtarzadeh is an attorney in the Sacramento office of Klinedinst PC. Mr. Mokhtarzadeh’s practice focuses on business litigation as well as professional and general liability. Prior to joining Klinedinst PC, Mr. Mokhtarzadeh clerked for various federal agencies and non-profits where he focused primarily on regulatory of enforcement and environmental litigation. Most notably, working on issues concerning litigation over water and property contamination.
Mr. Mokhtarzadeh is a recent graduate of the George Washington University Law School in Washington, D.C. While at GWU he developed his litigation skills working as a law clerk for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the U.S. Department of Transportation, and the U.S. Department of Energy. He also received the Presidential Volunteer Service Award for volunteering 1,272 pro bono hours while at George Washington University. Mr. Mokhtarzadeh was also an associate member of the Journal of Energy and Environmental Law.
Mr. Mokhtarzadeh earned a Bachelor of Arts in American History from the University of California Irvine. While at UCI, he was Vice President of the Division 1 Men’s Rugby Team.
Mr. Mokhtarzadeh is a member of the State Bar of California, Sacramento County Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. During his free time, Mr. Mokhtarzadeh enjoys hiking, backpacking, spending time in Napa Valley, and playing and watching sports.
