Julie E. Corriveau is Senior Counsel in San Diego, where she defends clients against allegations of malpractice and breaches of professional responsibility. Much of her work focuses on the defense of lawyers and accountants.
Over the past two decades, she has built an incredibly diverse practice including insurance defense and tort litigation, as well as cases involving construction defect, personal injury, and premise liability. She has also handled all aspects of litigation for clients involving banking, real estate, quiet title, including defense of RICO claims.
Through her work, Ms. Corriveau has earned Matrinale-Hubbell’s top AV®-Preeminent™ rating for legal ability and ethical standards. San Diego Magazine also featured her in 2020 as one of San Diego’s Top Lawyers in general practice.
Ms. Corriveau attended the University of San Diego, obtaining her B.A. in Political Science in 1995. She then attended Creighton University School of Law in Omaha, Nebraska, where she obtained her Juris Doctorate in 1998. During law school, she won the Moot Court Best Oral Advocate award and CALI/Am Jur award for European economic community law. She also received a certificate in public international law from The Hague Academy of International Law in the Netherlands. Julie was admitted to the California State Bar in 1998 and is also licensed to practice in the U.S. District Court, Southern, Northern, Central and Eastern Districts of California.
