Melissa Corona

Associate

Melissa Corona is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Klinedinst PC. As part of her practice, she works with clients in a variety of business and commercial litigation.

Prior to joining Klinedinst, Ms. Corona worked at a boutique law firm, handling cases involving medical malpractice, defending state and federal public entities, and litigating employment matters. She was involved in every stage of litigation, and also represented clients in the Court of Appeal on pre-trial court orders.

Ms. Corona earned her undergraduate degree from St. John’s University and her law degree from Pepperdine University School of Law. While in law school, she also earned her Certificate in Dispute Resolution from the Straus Institute. Ms. Corona was an Associate Editor for the Pepperdine Law Review and completed two judicial externships to Hon. Dean Pregerson (U.S. District Court, Central District of California) and to Hon. Peter Lewis (U.S. District Court, Southern District of California).

Fluent in Spanish, Ms. Corona worked as a Summer Legal Intern with the International Justice Mission in Guatemala City, Guatemala. She also is skilled in fencing, and was a former member of the Mexican National Team.
