Nelson X. Liu is an associate attorney at Klinedinst’s Irvine office. Mr. Liu focuses his practice on general liability defense, retail and premises liability, transportation and business litigation.

Before joining Klinedinst, Mr. Liu interned for general counsel at an information technology solutions company. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Northeastern University School of Law, where he also served as a teaching assistant for first-year legal research and writing. While in law school, Mr. Liu worked as a legal intern, aiding other associates and a United States District Court Magistrate Judge on several occasions. He also served as Secretary for the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association.

Mr. Liu attended the University of California, Irvine, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. During his undergraduate studies, Mr. Liu earned numerous accolades including summa cum laude, Regents Scholar, and the Deans Honor List. He is also a member of various community organizations, including the Orange County Bar Association, the Orange County Asian American Bar Association, and the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association. When he is not at work, Mr. Liu spends his free time volunteering at his church, traveling, eating out, and watching sports.
