Grace L. Sluga is an associate based in Klinedinst’s Phoenix office, where she manages a diverse caseload of business and commercial litigation client matters. She is experienced in drafting pleadings, conducting depositions, collaborating with experts to develop defense strategies, and negotiating settlement agreements with opposing counsel.
Before serving as an associate at Jones, Skelton & Hochuli, P.L.C., Ms. Sluga was a Judicial Extern for the Honorable John C. Hinderaker at the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona, where she honed her legal writing and analytical skills by reviewing pleadings and drafting court orders.
While earning her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law, Ms. Sluga served as a clinical law student in the Workers’ Rights Clinic and as a Managing Editor of the Arizona Law Review. These experiences enabled her to bring a sophisticated understanding of legal principles and ethics to her practice, as further evidenced by her accolades, including the Dean’s Achievement Award Scholarship and the John G. Hawkins Professionalism Award.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Ms. Sluga is actively involved in various organizations, including the Arizona Women Lawyers Association and the John G. Hawkins Professionalism Award Committee. Her passion for social justice is complemented by her volunteer work with local organizations, enhancing her connection to the community.
