Associate

Lauren Alexia Ybarra is an associate in Klinedinst PC’s Irvine office, where her practice focuses on complex civil litigation, business disputes, insurance-related claims, and electronic discovery matters. She represents clients in California state and federal courts, guiding matters through all phases of litigation with a strategic, detail-oriented approach.

Ms. Ybarra handled a wide range of litigation responsibilities, including drafting dispositive motions, oppositions, replies, and ex parte applications, document review and production workflows, while coordinating with vendors to develop discovery strategies tailored to complex litigation matters. Her experience also includes drafting and arguing discovery motions, preparing deposition outlines, analyzing testimony, and supporting trial preparation efforts.

Previous experience includes managing a significant caseload involving medical provider fraud litigation and labor and employment matters. She has successfully handled cases involving wage-and-hour disputes, PAGA claims, and class actions, while also leading large-scale ESI discovery efforts in complex business litigation involving millions of records and multiple defendants.

Ms. Ybarra earned her Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School’s SCALE Accelerated Two-Year Program, where she concentrated her studies in Technology Law and Entrepreneurship. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, cum laude, from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and was awarded first prize in the university’s annual Research, Scholarship, and Creative Activities (RSCA) competition.
