Klinedinst and CBIZ MHM, LLC Team Up to Present the 2014 HR Update

SAN DIEGO – Klinedinst and CBIZ MHM, LLC have announced a joint series of seminars called the 2014 HR Update. Scheduled for Tuesday, February 11th in Irvine, and Wednesday, February 12th in San Diego, the 2014 HR Update will cover important updates to the federal and California employment laws, as well as the Affordable Care Act.

Speakers will include Gregg Landers, Consulting Services at CBIZ MHN, LLC, Doug Gwilliam, Benefits and Insurance at CBIZ MHN, LLC, and Natalie Vance, Employment Attorney and Shareholder at Klinedinst PC. The Irvine seminar will feature additional speakers Debbie Cooper, Attest & Tax at CBIZ MHN, and Valorie Aguilar, HR Director at Qual-Pro Corporation.

Each seminar will focus on case updates and new laws relating to minimum wage, discrimination, retaliation, leaves of absences, and more. The Affordable Care Act will also be covered, with a legislative update on the law, new compliance regulations, and the new tax that will be applied to the 2013 tax returns.

The program is suitable for any professional who has human resources as part of their reporting structure, including owners, presidents, CEOs, CFOs, COOs, and controllers.

Registration to attend the seminar is $50. Attendees will receive 1.5 hours of CPE credit for attending, and food will be served at each location.
