Tara R. Burd has joined the Klinedinst San Diego legal team as Counsel. An award-winning attorney who is active within the legal community, Ms. Burd dedicates her practice to solving issues involving probate, trust and business litigation.
SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA – Klinedinst PC is pleased to announce the addition of Tara R. Burd as Counsel in the San Diego office. Ms. Burd brings extensive probate and trust litigation experience to the firm, with a special emphasis on trust administration, probate avoidance, and probate litigation.
Much of her career has been focused on helping clients navigate their way through complex issues such as breach of contracts, business disputes, partition actions, employment, and personal injury lawsuits.
Outside the probate sphere, Ms. Burd crafts strategies for clients to reduce or eliminate the risk of litigation through creative and proactive solutions. She is a prolific writer on these complex topics, and regularly speaks to groups and organizations.

Ms. Burd is active in the community as the Co-Chair of the Real Property Law Section of the California Lawyers Association (CLA) and member of the Marketing and Communications subcommittee, In 2018, she was appointed to serve on The State Bar of California’s Access Through Innovation of Legal Services (ATILS) Task Force, which is tasked with reevaluating rule and laws applicable to the practice of law for the purpose of increasing access to justice through the use of technology and innovation.
Locally, Ms. Burd is active in the Irish American Bar Association of San Diego as a recent Past President. She is also involved in the San Diego County Bar Association and Probate Attorneys of San Diego.
