Emily Allyn is an associate in the Sacramento office of Klinedinst PC with a practice focusing on personal injury defense and insurance defense. Her experience includes collaborating closely with claims representatives and insured clients to navigate complex personal injury cases and achieve optimal resolutions.
Prior to joining Klinedinst, Ms. Allyn handled litigated personal injury matters as in-house counsel, and also worked at insurance defense firms where her cases involved medical malpractice defense, professional licensing defense, and long term care facility defense. In her practice, she has litigated cases on behalf of physicians, physician groups, nurses, therapists, skilled nursing facilities, residential care facilities for the elderly, mental health facilities, home health providers, hospice providers, as well as hospitals and hospital networks. She has also provided risk management support to a broad array of clients, as well as honed her experience in healthcare regulatory litigation.
Active in her professional community, Ms. Allyn volunteers as a presiding judge and scoring attorney for the Gordon D. Schaber Mock Trial & Moot Court Competition.
Ms. Allyn earned her Juris Doctor from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, where she studied International Law, Business Law, and Tax Law, and also received a Certificate in Mediation. She holds dual Bachelor’s degrees in Global Studies and Political Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
