Jamie K. Combs is Senior Counsel in the Las Vegas office of Klinedinst PC. She is an experienced litigation attorney skilled in representing financial institutions and businesses in state and federal courts. Ms. Combs has defended clients in a variety of cases, including matters alleging violations of the FCRA, TCPA, FDCPA, FCBA, TILA, as well as state unfair and deceptive acts/practices (UDAP) statutes and other consumer lending statutes and regulations. She also has significant experience representing mortgage lenders and servicers in servicing-related disputes, wrongful foreclosure complaints, lien priority actions, and adversary bankruptcy proceedings.
Prior to joining Klinedinst, Ms. Combs served as an in-house counsel at a national bank specializing in credit cards, where she managed nationwide litigation and arbitration and worked closely with executive leadership to mitigate risks and drive strategic legal outcomes. Before that, Jamie spent several years as a litigation attorney at a national law firm representing financial institutions and other businesses in litigation.
A native of Las Vegas, Jamie earned her J.D., summa cum laude, from the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where she served as an Articles Editor for the Nevada Law Journal and was a member of the Moot Court Team. She went on to receive her LL.M. in Business Law with a concentration in Financial Regulation and Compliance from Florida State University College of Law.
