Gursimrat “Sim” Singh is an associate in Klinedinst PC’s Irvine office, where her practice focuses on employment law and business litigation. She represents clients through all stages of litigation, including case evaluation, discovery, motion practice, depositions, court appearances, and trial preparation.
Before shifting her career to private practice, Ms. Singh served as in-house counsel for a national technology and business services company, where she advised on employment matters, contract drafting and negotiation, corporate compliance, and risk management. Her diverse legal background also includes representing employers and businesses in employment disputes, premises liability matters, construction defect claims, and complex wage-and-hour litigation, including class action and Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) matters.
Ms. Singh has substantial experience drafting pleadings, motions, discovery responses, settlement agreements, employment contracts, vendor agreements, and corporate governance documents. She regularly counsels clients on compliance issues and works closely with business leaders to mitigate legal risk and develop practical solutions to operational challenges.
While attending law school, Ms. Singh gained valuable in-house and alternative dispute resolution experience through legal internships with private companies and a mediation clinic, where she facilitated resolutions in matters involving discrimination complaints, small claims disputes, and employment-related issues. Her work included contract review, intellectual property matters, corporate governance projects, and regulatory compliance research.
Ms. Singh earned her Juris Doctor from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law (now the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco), where she served as a Staff Editor for the Communications and Entertainment Law Journal and held leadership positions within several student organizations. She was also a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Team and received international recognition at The Negotiation Challenge, earning both a Third Place Team Finish and the award for Best Negotiation Style. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology, cum laude, from Drexel University.
