SAN DIEGO, CA – KPC Senior Counsel Seana Scholtemeyer took the stage at Lawyers Club of San Diego’s 2026 Annual Dinner, serving as co-emcee of the event while continuing her leadership role as Treasurer and a member of the organization’s Board of Directors.
Held at the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina, the annual gathering brought together attorneys, judges, legal professionals, and community leaders from across the region under the theme, “Share Power, Share Progress.”
The evening featured keynote speaker Elizabeth Nyamayaro, an internationally recognized political scientist, award-winning humanitarian, and former senior advisor to the United Nations. Reflecting on the event, Seana shared that Nyamayaro’s message encouraged attendees to recognize the impact of collective progress and the importance of empowering others through leadership and service.
The annual dinner also honored outstanding members of the legal community. Kate Lee Carey, Special Counsel at Cooley, received the Community Service Award, while Elvira Cortez was presented with the Belva Lockwood Award in recognition of her exceptional contributions and leadership within Lawyers Club of San Diego.
