John Paul Chakbazof

John Paul Chakbazof is an associate and accomplished trial attorney in Klinedinst PC’s Sacramento office, where his practice focuses on general liability and personal injury defense matters. Mr. Chakbazof is recognized for his strategic litigation skills, persuasive advocacy, and unwavering commitment to protecting clients’ rights throughout every stage of the litigation process.

Mr. Chakbazof most recently served as a Deputy Public Defender III with the Riverside County Public Defender’s Office, where he oversaw preliminary hearings, motion practice, client counseling, plea negotiations, and courtroom litigation.

Mr. Chakbazof gained substantial courtroom experience as both a Post-Bar Certified Law Clerk and Certified Law Clerk with the Riverside County Public Defender’s Office. In these positions, he drafted and argued motions, conducted preliminary hearings, represented clients in numerous court appearances, and built a strong foundation in criminal litigation. He also served as a Certified Law Clerk with the Orange County District Attorney’s Office, where he researched legal issues, prepared memoranda, and appeared regularly in court, providing him with valuable insight into both sides of the criminal justice system.

During law school, Mr. Chakbazof served as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Nancy Zeltzer of the Orange County Superior Court. Working closely with the court, he conducted legal research, drafted judicial memoranda, and observed judicial decision-making, further strengthening his analytical and advocacy skills. He was also selected as a Dean’s Fellow at Western State College of Law, mentoring fellow law students in academic success and professional development in recognition of his leadership and scholastic achievement
