Matthew Malters

Associate

Matthew Malters is an associate in Klinedinst PC’s Nevada office, where his practice includes litigation, intellectual property, and business transactions. Mr. Malters’ legal experience spans private practice, judicial service, and emerging business ventures. He assists clients with complex litigation matters by conducting legal research, drafting motions, briefs, discovery responses, and memoranda, and supporting client strategy. He also handles transactional matters with the preparation and review of commercial lease agreements, stock purchase agreements, and intellectual property-related matters.

Prior to joining Klinedinst, Mr. Malters served as a Judicial Extern to the Honorable Gloria Navarro of the United States District Court for the District of Nevada, where he conducted legal research, drafted judicial orders, and observed proceedings across both civil and criminal dockets.

In addition to his legal practice experience, Mr. Malters brings a strong entrepreneurial perspective. He is the Co-Founder and Registered Agent of Ruby Broncos LLC, where he was involved in real estate acquisition, business formation, land development initiatives, and related legal matters. Earlier in his career, he founded and served as CEO of one of the first subscription-based dental services companies in the United States. Mr. Malters also founded and operated a music collective and independent record label, where he managed artists, organized live performances, developed merchandising initiatives, and gained practical experience with intellectual property, branding, and entertainment-related business matters.

At the William S. Boyd School of Law, Mr. Malters served as Notes Editor for the Nevada Law Journal, worked as a Contract Law Teaching Assistant, and served as President of the Jewish Law Student Association. He was also actively involved with the Intellectual Property Law Society and participated in community legal education programs.
