San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program
Klinedinst is pleased to shine a spotlight on the organizations making a difference in our community. One of those organizations is San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program (SDVLP).
SDVLP is a 501(c)(3) organization that offers pro bono representation to women, children, and men throughout San Diego. SDVLP is the oldest and most comprehensive pro bono legal service provider in the country, and provides representation to over 5,000 San Diego residents each year.
The primary goal of SDVLP is to ensure that all San Diego County residents have equal access to representation and the opportunity for justice regardless of their economic or financial status. SDVLP provides services to low income individuals through the support of law firms, volunteer lawyers, law students, and paralegals alike. SDVLP offers help in cases involving family law, housing discrimination, domestic violence, landlord/tenant disputes, guardianship, and more. To date, over 3,000 legal professionals have helped SDVLP clients in their dedication to meeting the needs of San Diego County’s residents.
Klinedinst PC is proud to be a SDVLP supporter. In past years, Klinedinst has been involved with SDVLP and its special events, including the Justice For All Celebration and LAF-Off (Lawyers Are Funny) comedy competition. SDVLP honored Klinedinst CEO and President Heather L. Rosing was honored by SDVLP in 2014 with the Exemplary Service Award.
