Brendan D. Gonzalez is a Fall Law Clerk at Klinedinst PC’s Sacramento office. He is currently a law student at the University of California, Davis School of Law, entering his second year in the fall.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Gonzalez earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara. While attending UCSB he served as the Chairman of the Associated Students Public Safety Commission and President of the Inter-Fraternity Council.
Mr. Gonzalez brings to Klinedinst hands-on experience, having previously served as a Research Assistant for Professor Menesh Patel, where he conducted legal research and prepared legal memorandum on exceptions to the Illinois Brick rule, and conducted spot legal research on the definitional scope of controlling shareholders under Delaware corporation law and director liability claims alleging breach of fiduciary duty.
Additionally, he worked as a Legal Assistant position at a Santa Barbara law firm where he aided in legal research, as well as drafting and editing legal documents for estate planning, probate, and nonprofit law.
