Janet Berman-Brooks brings over four decades of experience as a Paralegal in the Sacramento office of Klinedinst. Within the firm, Ms. Berman-Brooks works on cases in a variety of legal fields, including complex business and civil litigation, professional liability, employment and personal injury law. In her position, she has analyzed thousands of pages of discovery to identify important information and critical documents used later in case trials. Prior to joining Klinedinst, Ms. Berman-Brooks spent many years at a Sacramento boutique law firm which focused on professional liability matters. She also worked with criminal defense attorneys representing death penalty defendants in both trials and appeals.

Ms. Berman-Brooks received her B.A. in Liberal Arts from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and her Advanced Paralegal Certificate in Trial Practice from the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA). In the community, she has been an active member of the Sacramento Valley Paralegal Association for more than 15 years.

In her free time, Ms. Berman-Brooks enjoys participating in her local synagogue, trying new recipes using unusual ingredients, and traveling.
