Summer Law Clerk

Neil K. Vermani is a Summer Law Clerk in the Irvine law office of Klinedinst PC.

Mr. Vermani is currently pursuing his Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Irvine School of Law. As a first-year student, Mr. Vermani was involved in numerous pro bono projects related to family law, immigration law, California tenant law, and Social Security disability law. Mr. Vermani was awarded UCI School of Law’s Pro Bono Achievement Award at the end of his first year for these efforts. About to enter his third year of law school, Mr. Vermani will be a member of the law school’s Ninth Circuit Appellate Litigation Clinic where he will take on an appeal before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, litigating through its conclusion.

Prior, Mr. Vermani graduated with honors from the University of California, Riverside achieving a Bachelor of Arts in History. While a student at UCR, Mr. Vermani’s historical research centered on U.S. migration and immigration, U.S. visual cultures, and the clothing of Africa. Mr. Vermani was also a frontline healthcare worker during the COVID-19 pandemic, working as a medical assistant and operations manager in pulmonary medicine.
