Case Intake Clerk

Case Intake Clerk responsibilities include:

  1. Collaborate with Legal Assistants to gather information necessary to effectively open and close case files for all KPC offices
  2. Track and manage engagement letters for all client matters
  3. Communicate and disseminate conflict of interest information, and follow up with attorneys and staff as needed to handle all due diligence and ensure that files are complete and up-to-date
  4. Additional case intake duties including, but not limited to:
    • Processing client change requests,
    • Updating claim information,
    • Maintaining accurate billing instructions,
    • Adjusting attorney origination credit requests, and
    • Assuring accuracy of matter billing rates
    • Work directly with Klinedinst’s CFO and department leads on special assignments

Ideal candidates should have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, and be ready to interact and collaborate directly with attorneys, management, and staff. While experience in the legal field is preferred, it is by no means required. What is needed is a strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and outstanding time management skills. Candidates will work to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while exercising discretion and good judgment.

Pay range: $24.04 – $28.85 per hour (depends on experience). Pay ranges are provided in compliance with SB1162, California’s pay transparency law; actual pay may vary based on a variety of factors, including education, applicable experience, etc. Come join our team and you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and talented group of professionals!
