Transactional Associate – Los Angeles

Our transactional team is growing! Klinedinst is seeking a Transactional Associate to play a critical role in negotiating and advising clients on contracts for corporate clients. As part of Klinedinst’s General Counsel, Transactional, and M&A group, the Transactional Associate will serve a vital role in representing clients in a wide range of transactional legal matters, from licensing agreements to representing clients in fund raising activities and a wide array of contract negotiations.

Candidates for the Transactional Associate should have at least two years of experience and a strong interest in gaining corporate, M&A and general transactional experience. Candidates should also be licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of California. Experience in this subject not as important as a strong hunger to learn more and go above and beyond for our clients. Familiarity with working with SaaS and software companies is a plus, but not required, and remote working arrangements may be available.

Unlike behemoth Big Law firms, Klinedinst empowers its attorneys. We offer associates the opportunity to grow their practice, to lead, and to own the transactional process. If you are looking to land a job where you are making a difference – not simply pushing documents and processing due diligence – and would actually like to start running your own deals, throw your name in to be considered as the next Transactional Associate to join Klinedinst. Take your career to great heights, and apply today.

What candidates can expect as a Transactional Associate at Klinedinst:

  • The opportunity to participate in contract negotiation and interface directly with business teams in the process of contract negotiation
  • Analyze, review and draft contracts, discussing issues and priorities with the business teams and corporate leadership at various stages of each project
  • Supervise and work with outside counsel, when appropriate, on particular matters
  • Provide guidance and counsel on a variety of legal topics, with a focus on contract and M&A matters
  • Strong credentials and membership in good standing with the State Bar of California are required.
  • Pay range: $125,000-150,000 per year (depends on experience)
  • The chance to participate as a member of a collaborative team

The Klinedinst environment is where you will find:

  • Supportive team-based law firm, with excellent support staff
  • Opportunities to grow personally and professionally
  • Chances to work on complex cases with significant responsibilities and client interaction
  • A dynamic culture that embraces opportunities for remote working arrangements
  • Open, honest, and transparent communication within the firm
  • Merit-based compensation

Level up your legal career by joining a growing firm regularly recognized by Best Lawyers, Martindale, and Super Lawyers. We seek candidates who have strong credentials and a desire to build their own practice on a diversified, multi-state platform.

Pay ranges are provided in compliance with SB1162, California’s pay transparency law; actual pay may vary based on a variety of factors, including education, applicable experience, etc.

This is the place where futures are made. If you are entrepreneurially-minded and are looking for a fast-moving, fast-growing team, take a step towards a new career. Apply for our Transactional Associate position today.
