Major Programs

CAMPAC: CAMPAC, the California MBA’s political action committee, raises funds to specifically support candidates for the California State Legislature. Through CAMPAC, the California Mortgage Bankers Association is able to increase visibility on the California political scene by supporting more candidates who understand the significant role that the real estate finance industry plays in the state’s overall economy. This committee strives to play a larger role in the election process in California at this critical time in history.

Future Leaders Program: Participants in the California MBA Future Leaders Program benefit from a transformative, customized academic and leadership experience through a partnership with Pepperdine University’s Graziadio Business School. The program also brings participants to a host of CMBA conferences and events, broadening their range of knowledge and skills. The program connects participants with multiple mentors in the industry, further increasing their network and returning them a more valuable employee and a true leader to their company.

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee: The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee was established in 2021 to address the risks and barriers to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and tangible steps that CMBA members can take to overcome them. This committee was spearheaded by Klinedinst’s Ian Rambarran, who currently serves as the inaugural Chair. The committee is a continuation of the CMBA’s goal to support the real estate finance industry’s diverse audiences and members.
