Ellie W. Hendrix

Associate

Ellie Hendrix is an associate in Klinedinst’s Seattle office, where her practice focuses on intellectual property law, civil and commercial litigation, business law, and estate and probate planning and litigation. Before going into private practice, Ms. Hendrix served as a law clerk for Major League Baseball in New York City, where she assisted in the protection of MLB’s global trademark portfolio and provided legal research for counsel to oppose infringers, register and renew trademarks, and ultimately, enforce MLB entities’ federal and state rights.

Admitted to practice law in Washington State in July 2024, Ellie holds a Juris Doctor from William & Mary Law School, where she served as the Lead Online Editor for the William & Mary Law Review, and actively participated in the Student Intellectual Property Society as President.

During her time at William & Mary, Ms. Hendrix distinguished herself as a Legal Practice Fellow and received a merit scholarship in recognition of her academic achievements. Prior to law school, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Oklahoma, where she was actively involved in the American Indian Student Association, showcasing her commitment to cultural representation and advocacy. Additionally, she has worked as a Research Assistant focusing on conspiracy and criminal procedure. Ms. Hendrix’s internship at the Norfolk Public Defender’s Office provided her with hands-on experience in criminal defense, further strengthening her legal acumen.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Ms. Hendrix is committed to service, having acted as a Recruitment Liaison for the OU Dance Marathon and volunteering with the Ronald McDonald House. In her leisure time, she enjoys traveling, watching sports, reading fiction, and spending time with rescue animals.
