Petra Ambrose is Senior Counsel in Klinedinst’s Seattle office. She is a seasoned litigator with experience in numerous areas, and is licensed to practice in Washington, Nevada, New Jersey, and the District of Columbia. Her practice is focused on defending malpractice and professional liability suits against attorneys, medical professionals, accountants, real estate brokers, directors and officers, and construction design professionals, as well as cybersecurity and tech claims and commercial litigation.

Ms. Ambrose prides herself on using creative strategies to obtain favorable results for clients, including dismissals. Ms. Ambrose recently obtained numerous dismissals on motions to dismiss or summary judgment, including four attorney clients who had been sued for legal malpractice, a real estate broker, as well as an accounting firm. She has also successfully obtained permanent injunctions on behalf of two clients.

Prior to joining Klinedinst, Ms. Ambrose had a decade of experience representing general contractors and construction design professionals in construction injury and construction-defect related litigation, products liability, personal injury, premises liability, and insurance bad faith. She has extensive experience litigating, mediating, and settling cases in both state and federal courts in Nevada and Washington. Ms. Ambrose’s experience in numerous practice areas has given her unmatched insight into defending her clients.

Ms. Ambrose is the Chair of the Northwest Chapter of the Professional Liability Underwriting Society. While in law school, she served as Executive Articles Editor on the St. John’s Journal of Legal Commentary. She additionally served as judicial law clerk to the Honorable Patrick J. Roma, New Jersey Superior Court Judge, as well as a Nevada Supreme Court appointed mediator for the State of Nevada’s Foreclosure Mediation Program.
