Aydin Emami is an associate in the firm’s San Diego law office, and has extensive experience representing businesses, employers, insurers, and individuals in California state, federal, and appellate courts. Mr. Emami’s practice focuses on professional liability defense, especially in the area of legal malpractice, as well as business litigation, real estate, and contract disputes.
Prior to joining Klinedinst, Mr. Emami’s practice focused on the defense of high exposure catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death matters, as well as complex business disputes. He has litigation experience involving diverse damages claims and potential excess exposure. In his litigation practice, Mr. Emami has had significant success at trial, pre-trial, and post-trial motions including demurrers, motions to strike, motions for summary judgment, and successfully authoring and arguing appeals.
Mr. Emami earned his J.D. from California Western School of Law, where he earned a Dean’s List award and served as Vice President of Middle Eastern Law Student Association (MELSA). Before attending law school, he received his B.S. cum laude in Finance from Cal State LA. Mr. Emami is licensed to practice law in California, and is admitted to the Southern and Central Districts of the United States District Court, State of California.
