Gaurav Bobby Kalra is Senior Counsel in the Sacramento and San Diego offices of Klinedinst PC. Mr. Kalra is a complex commercial litigation attorney whose practice focuses primarily on commercial and employment litigation.

Prior to joining Klinedinst, Mr. Kalra worked for well-known national law firms. For over one decade, he also led his boutique litigation practice with offices in Southern and Northern California. Mr. Kalra has trial experience, both judge and jury trials, and has been lead trial counsel in matters throughout California. He has handled hundreds of lawsuits in the State of California and has fully litigated arbitration matters to hearing with AAA, JAMS, and other ADR providers.

Mr. Kalra earned his Juris Doctorate from Berkeley Law in May 2002. While at Berkeley Law, he received the American Jurisprudence Award in Complex Issues in Civil Litigation.

Mr. Kalra earned his B.A. in Ethnic Studies at the University of California, Berkeley, with Highest Distinction in General Scholarship (the university’s equivalent to summa cum laude), and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa.

Mr. Kalra has been consistently engaged in civic and volunteer service including Big Brothers, Big Sisters of America (Sacramento, California), has acted as a board member of two domestic violence prevention agencies, and served as an AmeriCorps National Service member for two years. He has been recognized by the Mayor of Berkeley and the South Asian Bar Association of Sacramento for his community service efforts.
