Paul H. Burleigh is a Shareholder in Klinedinst’s Los Angeles office. Mr. Burleigh focuses his practice on commercial and business litigation, complex products and premises liability matters, catastrophic personal injury and death claims and toxic torts. He also assists clients in California Proposition 65 compliance.
Over a career spanning three decades, Mr. Burleigh has defended manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, retailers, and dealers of industrial and consumer products. He has prepared and tried cases involving construction and manufacturing equipment, exposure to asbestos, benzene, and mold, automotive component parts, vehicle accidents (truck, auto and motorcycle), fire damage, explosions, medical devices, nutritional supplements, escalators and elevators, and numerous consumer products.
Mr. Burleigh also represents owners, contractors and subcontractors, and construction managers and engineers in tort liability, breach of contract, and construction defect actions. He has defended class action lawsuits involving ABS pipes, nutritional supplements, and consumer warranty and arbitration agreements. He routinely counsels clients in regulatory compliance, including Proposition 65.
Prior to joining Klinedinst, Mr. Burleigh served as managing partner for the Los Angeles office of a major national law firm. He earned his Juris Doctor from Pepperdine School of Law, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from California State University Northridge.
