SAN DIEGO – This holiday season, Klinedinst PC has once again become a National Corporate Donor of the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation.

“We are thrilled to announce Klinedinst has officially become a 2013 national corporate donor of the Marine Toys for Tots Campaign,” said retired Marine Major Bill Grein, Vice President of the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. “Thanks to the firm’s unwavering support, as well as the support of our other major donors, Toys for Tots will be able to provide presents to millions of children living in poverty in our country.”

Since 1947, Toys for Tots has distributed nearly 470 million toys to more than 216 million children across the country. Last year alone, the organization distributed over 16.8 million gifts to 7 million kids.

According to the Foundation, 97% of every donation goes directly to the purchase of toys, books, and other gifts. Only 3% is spent on fundraising expenses, and no funds donated go to pay for salaries or other manpower costs. This ratio earned the Foundation a ranking of #77 in the 2013 Philanthropy 400, published by the Chronicle of Philanthropy. Marine Toys for Tots is also an accredited charity by meeting all 20 Standards of the Better Business Bureau Wise Giving Alliance.
