LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – The Daily Journal has published its 2023 list of Top Professional Responsibility Lawyers. The Special Report honors the top performing lawyers legal malpractice matters and judicial representation. Of the 27 lawyers recognized from across California, Shareholders Heather L. Rosing and David M. Majchrzak have both been honored in this year’s edition.
Ms. Rosing is CEO and President of Klinedinst PC, and chairs the firm’s Professional Liability group. A Certified Specialist in Legal Malpractice by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization, she defends lawyers, accountants, and other professionals and institutions. She provides ethics guidance and counsel to judges in disciplinary matters, and represents clients in matters involving with malpractice and fraud, director and officer (D&O) matters, and management liability. Within the profession, Ms. Rosing is extremely active in the state and national bar and other pro bono activities, and received recognition for her inaugural presidencies of both the California Lawyers Foundation (CLF) and the 100,000+ member California Lawyers Association (CLA).
Mr. Majchrzak is Shareholder and Deputy General Counsel at Klinedinst. In his practice, he counsels clients on how to achieve their professional goals ethically. He also provides risk management guidance to help them navigate the complex ethical waters of the legal profession. Mr. Majchrzak represents clients in matters involving attorney and law firm risk management, discipline defense, and legal malpractice claims. He has also served as an expert on the subject of legal ethics issues. In the community, Mr. Majchrzak just completed a one-year term as President of the San Diego County Bar Association, and served as co-chair of the California Lawyers Association’s first Ethics Committee. He continues to remain active in CLA, as well as the Association of Professional Responsibility Lawyers, the ABA Standing Committee on Professionalism, as well as member of the ABA National Conference on Professional Responsibility Planning Committee.
