Klinedinst attorney Irean Zhang has been named co-Chair of the Legal Ethics Committee for San Diego County Bar Association. Ms. Zhang takes on this new responsibility to help guide the legal community in sustaining the highest ethical and professional standards.
SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA – Klinedinst attorney Irean Zhang has been selected to serve as co-Chair on the San Diego County Bar Association’s Legal Ethics Committee (LEC), a highly-respected group dedicated to preserving ethical practices and navigating complex ethical issues.
Ms. Zhang’s pioneering spirit, enthusiasm for ethics, and years of interpreting ethical principles for California lawyers will serve her well in this new high-profile role.
“In the complicated realm of ethics, I would call Irean a rising star, but I believe she is already a star,” said Dave Majchrzak, Klinedinst Deputy General Counsel who is serving as President of the SDCBA.
Previously, Ms. Zhang has worked on a number of important LEC projects. She contributes to the editing of Ethics in Brief, answers queries from the ethical hotline, and helps craft ethics opinions. As a member of the LEC Committee, she will continue to support the San Diego legal community by guiding members on cutting-edge topics and helping them uphold the highest ethical and professional standards.
In her new role as co-Chair, Ms. Zhang will help counsel the SDCBA Board by providing feedback and discussion on proposed views, regulations, and legislation, as well as educating members on ethical dilemmas.
