Superior Court of Los Angeles. Hosted by the Southern California Veterinary Medical Association (SCVMA) on June 5, 2018, the teleseminar aimed to demystify the issue of independent contractors within California veterinary offices.

Traditionally, veterinary offices have relied on independent contractors for roles such as relief veterinarians, groomers, or specialists. During the teleseminar, Mr. Daugherty discussed the implications and business challenges presented by this new Supreme Court decision. Navy Bay Bridge Run — Klinedinst announces it will serve as an official sponsor of the Navy’s 32nd Annual Bay Bridge Run/Walk. The event supports the Navy’s Morale Welfare and Recreation (MWR) programs, which assist in improving the quality of life for active duty and retired military and their family members.

SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA – Klinedinst has officially announced its participation as a sponsor in the Navy’s 32nd Annual Bay Bridge Run/Walk on Sunday, May 20, 2018. The annual event benefits the Navy’s Morale Welfare and Recreation (MWR) programs, which provides assistance to over 500,000 active and retired military and their families.

The Bay Bridge Run/Walk draws over 10,000 people to enjoy the course, panoramic views, and post-run celebration. The course is a unique 4-mile run/walk, which begins near the 10th Avenue Marine Terminal in downtown San Diego, continued over the iconic Coronado Bay Bridge, and finishes at Coronado’s Tidelands Park.

“Klinedinst is proud to support our local military by sponsoring this incredible event,” said Arthur S. Moreau III, Chief Operating Officer and a former naval aviator. “North Island’s MWR always does a fantastic job making the iconic bridge into an active pedestrian course, and we are all excited to participate again and have a large presence from our Klinedinst Corps.”

MWR provides healthy and affordable fitness and recreation opportunities at each of the five Navy bases in San Diego County. Wrapping gifts — Klinedinst has “re-upped” and renewed its commitment as National Corporate Donor with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve’s Toys for Tots Program for 2017. Last year, Toys for Tots collected and distributed 18 million toys to 6.9 million kids across all 50 States, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands.

SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA – Klinedinst PC has officially “re-upped,” renewing its support as a 2017 National Corporate Donor for Toys for Tots.

Toys for Tots, a national program managed by the United States Marine Corps Reserve, delivers new, unopened presents to kids during the holiday season. Last year, Toys for Tots distributed over 18 million toys to 6.9 million children. For 2017, they expect to increase the number of children served by nearly 10% to 7.5 million.

Toys for Tots is active in 782 communities, helping to bring holiday cheer to disadvantaged children across all fifty states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands.

2017 marks the 70th anniversary of Toys for Tots. In the winter of 1947, the U.S. Marines founded Toys for Tots, collecting and distributing 5,000 toys to children in need. In the decades since its founding, Toys for Tots has distributed 529 million toys to 244 million less fortunate children.
